| Reid Crosby completed his art degree at St. Michael’s College in Vermont where he was introduced to work of the late Vermont painter, Frank Hewitt. He supplemented his course work with summer courses at Plattsburgh State, where he developed his photography skills and was introduced to painter George Hofmann. With both professional and parental teachings (Reid’s parents are both artists), his work is a blend of their talents, incorporating elements inherited from each, combined with his own experiences, interests, and techniques, synthesized into something unique.
